Have a '96 ....and just got the intake this week and am now working on the install. Tried to find answers through the search engine...but no luck....

?: My Ambient Air Temperature Sensor was not attached with a rubber grommet. I have the 3/4'' hole in the intake for this sensor which will not fit. How do I deal with this???

thanks in advance

are you talking about the sensor that has 2 screws and goes into the old box? if you are you should just let it hang inside through the spot where the rubber from the cone meets the metal base... i let mine hang in there and just clamped the cone over it and its fine... i didnt want to bring it all the way over to the hole in the cone, plus it wouldnt look too good in te front of it, hope that helps

what did you do about the hole????

Did you leave it open.....??? B/c I don't want unfiltered air to get through and get dirt inside....

Theres a sensor adapter that comes with the stillen Intake kit. If you do not have one and you bought the intake new then call Stillen up and complane. BTW the sensor and the sensor adapter mount on the top of intake where it is Chrome and Stillen is imprinted. Good Luck.

all i did was put some black tape over the hole until i figure out what to put over it... for now it works.. also you should put black tape over the holes that are from the bottom piece of the stock box because if you look through, you can see right through and im sure water could splash in
