problems running shortly after cold start
As the title says, my Max has a problem staying started shortly after starting it on cold mornings (<40 or so). I will go out to start it for the first time of the day and it will crank up without a hitch but afterwards I have to keep the RPM's up around 2K or so for 10-15 seconds or it will die and the process starts all over again. After about 10 seconds of giving it gas it runs normally. I have no CEL and the only code it's throwing is the all-to-familiar KS code(soon to be fixed). Could this have something to do with idle air or air temp?
OMG, I feel like an idiot.
It says in the owners manual "If the engine is very hard to start in extremely cold or hot weather, depress the accelerator pedal and hold it to help start the engine". I must have read this thing 10 times and don't remember reading that. I guess it's normal. Thanks again.
