i just got a new gauge cluster, bc mine broke and they place i bought the new one from said there are places that can dial in your mileage. my odometer is analog, so i dont think this is too hard. Does anyone know of any places in the chicagoland area that do this, or is this illegal and there are no such places?

 

A dealer can do it.. not sure who else.

no, its used and it has about 100k more than my car..any idea how much dealer wants?(prob a lot)

 

I think you're SOL - I highly doubt anyone can turn back an odometer - only forward. Good luck man..

 

From what I have been told you have to buy the speedo part w/miles you request only at dealer and put that in your cluster

 

yeah the dealers not gonna change the mileage on an existing speedometer. I called them cause I bought se ones from the junk yard and the guy said he couldnt do it cause its "tampering"
