Trunk Lock Stuck

So I can't remember the last time I had to use my key to open my trunk. But the other day when my battery died, it wouldn't open with the switch in the driver's door. I tried the key in the lock and it would not turn at all. I WD-40'd it quite a bit and still nothing. Any other suggestions/troubleshooting? Any idea how much would a new lock unit be if it came down to that?
