Alternator choices?

Alright well im finally going to buy a new alternator. I have been doing research but I need to buy it soon because my optima battery is getting shot when I run all my accessories.

Should I get the Hitachi 110 amp or aftermarket that sometimes have 125 amp one from AutoZone, etc? The prices range from $125-$199 + cores!!

Im probably going to but it tomorrow but wanted some opinions first.

well pretty simple answer if you run any large amps you will be better off with a higher amperage one. Pretty much all the alternators from autozone are rebuilds but one word of advice is make sure they test it. Even if its brand new rebuilt make them put it in there testing machine, some guy on here a few weeks ago bought one from autozone didnt work, got another and it didnt work, then had the third tested after he got it and it didnt pass the test so the manager offerered to order him a brand new non-rebuild. Oh ya dont forget about a new belt too while your at it
