Weird Power issues

In the morning, the starter turns extremely slow. I thought it was the battery or altnernator but both have checked out. In addition, when my headlights are on (or interior lights) and i use the brake, the lights all dim. Any suggestions on either topic would be useful. thanks.

If your starter turns slow, and your problem is not your battery or alt, then.... wouldn't you think it's the starter Just a thought.

My lights always dim when I slow down/brake.

Try cleaning the LIM as well as the battery ground points.

That was i guess an "unspoken" possiblity. but i just put 2 and 2 together with the other problems and thought it could be a current problem not relating to the mechanical funtion of the starter. Just a thought.

Instead of making things more complex, rule out the simple items first,...

Take your starter to AutoZone to get tested.

checked ground points. and terminals, it looks like they have been cleaned recently (not by me though?) so, i am having an irritatingly hard time deciphering what the cause of all this stuff is.
