Exhaust suggestions

Hey all. I just have stock exhaust. I would like something that sounds pretty throaty (Please no "rice". That is the last thing i want). Do you all have any suggestions. And if you have sound clips that would be great. Thanks!

Sound clips on top of page.

This is all opinion, what sounds ricey to one, might not to another.

Get a large resonator, and kep a stock-like(A33) muffler.

Of course a y-pipe is essential.

But then again who cares about sound, it's all about power production.

i ride motorcycles. which means that it would take thousand of $$$ to get my car anywehre near that speed. So i'm not really worried about my car going fast. Just would like it to sound a little better than stock.

Well, you're SOL, because you don't have a V8 .. . And wont ever sound like one IMO.

Check out Kevlos set-up, and watch for updates, I'm sure that's going to sound pretty good.

one of my bikes sounds like a v8. so i know it can be done. just don't know if anyone makes one for max. so you think my best shot is to play with resonator sizes and get a y-pipe?

Just for the hell of it, I bought one of the "high flow catalytic converters" off e-bay for my just purchased 96. I does look like it is the right length and has the right flanges, but it does not have a recepticle for the down stream O2 sensor. I could put a fitting on, but this actually is not a converter as it is straight thru with some sound deadner around the insides. Anybody think it would cause a problem with the O2 sensor?

I'd say Cattman as my first choice and then the GReddy SP2 as my second choice, based on the sound clips for the Cattman and hearing Sean05's and Iron Scimitar's SP2s in real life.

y-pipe, b-pipe and dynomax superturbo muffler. it's a cheap stock-looking exhaust with internal baffles, so it's not super loud, but combined with the Y and B pipes it sounds really awesome and super-throaty when you put your foot down and has a nice low rumble when cruising.
