300zx maf in a 4th gen max?? need quick help

anyone kno, i think it would work fine, it looks like the same three plug too, anyone kno for sure off hand, thnks

maybe yous should read the FAQs. its not going to work correctly with out some fuel tweeking

ok actually does anyone know where i can get a cheaper maf, other then almost 500 bucks from nissan??

The Z32 MAF has 6 pins, whereas the A32 MAF only has 4. The wires are different so you'll have to re-wire it.

Z32 MAFs run well over 100 dollars normally. Theres no reason to get a Z32 MAF unless you're boosted over 275whp when the airflow exceeds what the maxima MAF can measure.

A Z32 MAF, although it looks the same is not. It's 0-5v range covers almost twice the the air flow thus using one on a maxima is not a direct replacement. A z32 MAF is used by other nissan's that are supercharged or turbo charge and it requires other modifictions to work

my maf is going out, i need to buy a new one soon, and on the 300zx maf, u have to adjust the fuel, but if i have the vq30de-k with bigger injectors and my cars already running rich would that work, or just does anyone kno where i can get one for much cheaper then 480 bucks??

www.car-parts.com or the 4th gen classified section on the org. I actually have a stock MAF I don't need anymore.

theres two on that website by me, ill check those, there under 100 so thats pretty good, but let me kno if u wanna just get rid of that one for some money, thnks dude
