Wheel Stud Sheered Off

I had a cross threaded lugnut, it broke while trying to remove. How do I replace the stud? I have the rotor removed, what next? Also anyone know the specs on the new stud and lugnut, can I get these at Advance parts? Thanks!

Hammer the old one out.. hammer the new one in.
Advanced and auto zone have the stud and lugnut you'll need.

Lucky for you, you only had to replace 1. I had to replace 3!!! Never trust those cheap auto shops to put your rims on.

Do you have access to an air gun? Getting the stud out is easy, but hammering a new one in is pretty difficult. If you have air tools you can just put a spacer or old rotor on and use an air gun to tighten a lug nut on the new stud. It will just pull the new stud right into place.

Before I used an air gun to pull it on, I tried to just hammer it on for about 15 minutes and got no where.

bang it out, then put the new one on , bang it in as much as your can from behind and use a OPEN END nut to work it out.

Same here, BrakeMaster's broke one of mine, and I made them replace it for free.

That is not as bad as replacing all 10 of them in the rear. Installing a ghettofied wheels spacer. And plus i was using whatever tools i had around to replace the studs with longer ones.

I had to replace all 10 in the front coz 7 broken while i am taking the wheels out for axles. :P
Why did you replace all 10, when you only broke 7?
