What should a mechanic charge for a clutch job (labor only)
What should an independent mechanic charge for a clutch job (labor only)? I want to know a ballpark range so i can know what to expect tomorrow.
I have the 5th gen nissan clutch kit, and 5qts of GL4. I will have them do the rear main seal too, don't have the parts for that. What kind of cost am I looking at here?

wow cali must be cheap or somthing, i asked around just to see what it would cost to do a 5th gen clutch and flywheel resurface and it was lowest at $450 others went up and nissan wanted $860 for it!! ended up doing it myself and saving ALOT of money and trouble.

I paid $250 for labor (including resurfacing and everything). I provided the fluid and the clutch kit from Nissan...The guy that did it said he wouldn't have charged so much but the damn car is so rusted he said he had a lot of trouble removing the bolts and opening things up lol...I'm happy anyways
