Should I replace the OEM starter?

I have a 97 SE auto with 108K miles. In the past three weeks the car wouldn’t start on three separate occasions. I only would hear a low click when I turn the ignition key. I thought I might have a dead battery, but the headlights work fine. It wouldn’t even start when I tried jumping it. I would come back an hour later and then the car starts up. Is this a starter problem?

If the starter is indeed your problem, Yes.

Take it to AutoZone and have it tested.
