Has anyone had this happen to them? My engine light came on while driving back from work. It ticked me off cuz I just had my car completely tuned up for its 100000 check up. The ECU code was 05 05. When I checked the code, it came up as "No Failure Recorded/Detected". I'm guessing the engine light comes on automatically when your car hits 100000 miles. I'm glad it wasn't anything major. So has anyone had this happen to them?

Nope. Take another guess.

I got the same engine code about a week ago. I looked it up on the decoder and saw the same result as you- "No failure recorded/detected". So, I just reset the ECU and the light has not come back on.

Coast is clear

man I'm glad it's nothing really important. Thanks for the info. I wonder why Nissan would have the engine light come on when nothing is wrong? Oh well, as long as it's not something that's broken, it's all good.

Something is wrong. That annoying light will come back sooner or later. Probably sooner.
