Has anyone here painted their clearance lamps black?

I am considering painting the clearance lamps black with a shiny chrome/black type of paint on the inside. This is to match my all black soon-to-be retrofitted projectors units. Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

I used graphite on mine since I used graphite to do the AE mod initially. I did this to match everything.

black makes the grey glue stand out too much. but if you want them black just rub the chrome off.
