I just noticed your compressor in the picture. It was sufficient in getting the job done?

Or was it just used for the big boy bolts, and brake bars did the rest of the work?

Yes it did the job, it took off the flywheel the axle bolts and strut bolts. The compressor would kick in almost every second you would use the airgun for 5 seconds. I had a 3 piece heavy duty set craftsman prybar set. They were needed. We also used a slidge hammer. hahaha, to hit the jack to move it to the side, used some bricks hahaha did some ghetto things but it worked in the end.

WOOT! 1st test drive, clutch grabs way better!!! trans still a bit stiff everything still has to break in. Car runs great no more stupid *** noises like everything was going to blow up. My throw-out bearing from my old trans was completely shot. There was something wrong with the trans, the lever on the back of the trans which the shift rails go to you were able to move it in and out like butter. On the new one I couldnt even move it. SO yeah travish is going to take it apart and take pics. Take care of her

Nice choice on the brand new vlsd... I paid $1725 shipped from Phoenix to Denver. So many waste their time and money with a rebuild.

1850 for my trans, shipped from CA to NJ. The trans is good so far, still feels a little binding. I only put about 12 miles on it. They told me 600 miles to break in the trans. I guess thats all good. I will have to break in everything to use mevi once again I need to test it out to see if the vac lines are mixed up. I forgot what went where ha. Travish is rebuilding my old trans. Im sure he's going to find amazing things in there haha.

It feels good, grabs excellent compaired to stock. Trans is starting to shift smoother. 1st gear feels very smooth! unlike before there was a lot of vibrations when entering 3k+.

Great transmission pick-me-up! I can't wait til I save up for my transmission overhaul, gotta get this suspension out of the way first though.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but in reference to Godfather's recommendation, I'd like to know if someone could tell me where I could get a good deal on a new rear main seal. I get some annoying transmission slip when the tranny fluid is in low-mid operating temperatures; makes me think there might be an oil leak in the system. Any knowledgeable advice in diagnosing or correcting this problem from our transmission gurus would be much appreciated.

haha, Sorry I hit mevi today. I didn't do it again. I have about 300 miles on the clutch and trans now. Mix of highway and traffic. I keep it under 3k. Except for once because I hit mevi ha. Took us about 7 hours give or take. Yeah I gotta take it easier on my car. Everything feels soo great, kinda concern about the shifter feel, kinda feels spongy when entering 3rd gear.
