Mud Flap question... Help

I purchased some mudflaps from another .org member about a month ago.
I did infact recieve all of them. 2 right and 2 left. I was giving them a test fit before i was going to paint them and i realized that the back ones would fit perfectly but the front ones would not fit. Is there a difference between the front and the back mud guards because i did see that on the mud guards it said "model 2" on all four of them. Is there a model 1?

Thanks

Have you tried flipping them around, putting the ones that fit well on the back on the front, and the other ones on the back? They may be a slightly different fit front/back.

ask the seller about these. IIRC, they are a bit different from front and back... not completely sure, though.

The front is totally different than the back. The front one is about 1/2 the size of the back one.

yeah, uncle max is right. they are two different beasts. also, i dunno if you have already, but you have to take off the existing plastic finishers in order to put the flaps on. Painting them really makes the car look great. I had njmaxseltd paint mine and they came out fantastic

So the front and the back are two different things? well i am looking at the pics that he gave me on the car and i guess this guy just rigged his own way of putting two rear flaps on the front but they do not even fit flush with the car like the back ones do?

Ps. How do i get a picture from my C-Drive to this post? If i knew...you could all see the pics

The front and back mud flaps on my 97 are different. I am almost positive they have different screw holes as well. I will see if I can find them in the basement and post a picture.

Hold up a minute guys. You are all assuming these are nissan oem mudflaps which they are not.
They are a universal mudflap so fitment isn't 100% but they do fit the maxima.I removed these from my 97 parts car and had buyers the same day as i bought the car so i didn't rig anything. They were mounted to the same bolt hole as the oem mudflaps would have.It doesn't help that the car is wrecked so the mudflaps don't sit flush with the fenders especially the passenger front. So the pics are very misleading.

I had asked you before in an email if you could show me pics of how they were not bolting up on your car to see if maybe you were doing something wrong.Do you have any pics yet?

The flaps look like they fit pretty well. Note: I went out and double check the size of my mud flaps (Nissan). The front is actually close in size to the rear. The big difference is the rear has a little longer overhang to hug the fender better. Sorry for the mis-information about the front is much smaller than the rear. Looks can be deceiving.
