Since I had a little mix up with getting APC tails from a local shop I sent him clears to be painted. . . It was well worth the money, the reds match exactly. I am very pleased with this purchase. . . Pics follow.

the only part that bugs me is the little clear line that he missed i guess, could he be able to make that black like original. That is my only concern about that.

BTW, try to take a pic with the signal going.

I need to figure out a better yellow/orange bulb than the one that came with my clears as I don't like the color of the one I have. . . Since this didn't have anything to do with David, I figured I wouldn't post it, but if anyone has any suggestions for bulbs I would be appreciated. . . I will post a pic of the turn signals in a day pr so when I get a chance to take a picture of it. . . they are pretty pale though.

Try either Sylvania amber bulbs or the new Visual Series bulbs from Polarg.

Question

So, you sent him the all clear tail lights, and Dave painted them for you? How much was this? I have the all clears from custom max, and he also sent some spray paint. Why wont this work?

It was $65 to get them painted by him. . . While you might have the time and patience to try painting them yourself. . . My creative instincts aren't that good, and things like this always seem to get screwed up in some way shape or form. . . I just knew David's work was good, and I preferred to have him paint it just to make sure they came out looking good.

Another David Lau's work. No comparison indeed. However, I wish that it could have been more red to match the inner ones perfectly.
