strut boot and bumpstop, two piece?

I've been searching for probably the last hour and cant find anything so here's the question; just put in some HR's and Illumina's. In regards to bumpstops, I got the rears from the dealer and trimmed one or two rings so that is all set. For the fronts though, the boot that is in there (in pretty good condition BTW) looks nothing like the rears. I have the boot, with the bellows, then I have this hard yellow rubber part that is completely separate and is about two inches tall.

I'm assuming that this is the bumpstop that needs to be cut about 5/8 ". Is this right?

I ask because all the posts that I'm looking at refer to a bumpstop that is part of the dust boot and I dont have that

It's recommened that you trim your bumb stops, I didn't on mine with a sprint drop because i didn't want to chance shattering my kit.

thank you sir!

It must be some aftermarket thing that was installed since I had monroe's before this-Good struts BTW, but I had it with the boaty feeling. I mean, it wasn't a cadillac by any means but coming from stock SE struts to them, you could definitely feel the difference. I'm still playing around with the Illumina settings to see what I'm comfortable with but, I love these things already
