For thoes who can Photoshop

I was just wondering what a 4th gen max would look like with the stillen kit. But i would like to see it as 2 tone. Say a black maxima with silver kit. Or anyother 2 tones just to see what it looks like. Thanks for anyone who can do that and for others let me what you think before you see a picture of it done and after if someone can do the photoshop.
-Tom

If you need a pic you can use some from my cardomain. I would really like to see it with the murano rims on and the stillen kit a color very close to if not the same color of the rims. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/720766

Reason why i ask is the stillen kit isnt that noticeable in black but in other colors you can see the detail in it.

I have see the one white max with the carbon fiber kit ( FLAVOR_24/7 ) and i think it looks great but since i dont have carbon fiber i just wanted to see what it would look like.

Come on, just post opinions on what you guys would think a 2 tone (1 color for car, 1 color the kit) would end up looking like.

i could do it, but i don't want to. i think it would look dumb. if you do the kit silver you'll look like an oaklandraiders-mobile, and any other color will just llook like you bought the kit off another car and didn't bother getting it repainted.

ive seen it with blue and sliver and it looks sweet, esp if u paint half of the body kit blue, and then half silver, like accent it in silver or whatever- OK theres my opinion- now someone post a photochop!

Thanks southeast_first BRUNOJLB for posting your opinions. Ive only seen two 2 tone cars before flavors and the other i think its a 95/96 black and sliver but it was the body that was the 2 tone, so i just wanted to get an idea of what it would look like in another color.

Thanks again for voicing your opinion thats what i really want.

it's just a personal thing..

FWIW a friend who was in the car biz and a good sprayer once told me that painting the lower parts (sills, bumpers) a dark colour (eg black) reduces the apparent height and makes the car look sleeker.
In my youth I experimented extensively with Flake and so forth on a variety of my cars (MGC, MGC convertible, Triumph TR6, Jaguar XK150SSS, etc) and did the MGC convertible in two-tone Metalflake, sand and bronze, it looked very cool . . sorry no pics . .
Actually when the remaining mechanical work on my 96SE is finished I am going to have it completely redone, I am thinking of ordering some Pearlescent for the spray job. Not sure if I can buy Metalflake products here in Mexico, have to find out, maybe I'll need to import it. I once did a car in Mirraflake, it looked absolutely incredible. This was in the days when I owned a compressor and all the gear, I cannot do that myself anymore because all that exposure to the solvents made me hypersensitive to the stuff.
The Mirra job consisted of:
Red oxide primer onto bare metal followed by three undercoats, flat it down.
Three coats of gloss black finish. Flat it down, finishing with 1200 grade.
Two coats of clear acrylic with Mirraflake(tm) suspended in it, at recommended level.
Followed by 6 coats of clear acrylic, flat down, finish with 1200.
Then give one 'kiss coat' of clear acrylic, followed by buffing, and 6 weeks later, apply polish.
The effect was a kind of gunmetal gray look, until the sun came out or any lighting hit it; and then the whole car turned into a rainbow of colours. Absolutely spectacular. The work, however, took me about two weeks.

...another thought I had for my own max was to paint the kit black, but put a pearl over it. This way it only slightly stands out.

i think that looks pretty good. It lets the kit stand out more so you can see the detail in the front lip. Thanks for doing the photoshop!

Nice job erty67,
it looks pretty good to me. Painting the kit a color that resembles the color of the wheels lets it flow together a bit more.
Its definalty uniqe and stands out from the rest of the kitted maxima's

ive seen this on a black accord, someone who lives near me has it done. it looks very good. its a black accord, silver lip kit, and bronze volks, looks great. i say go for it. no color matching needed to be done either!

This 2 tone scheme reminds me of the chevy monte carlos, I think it's their special edition ones. Not digging that scheme at all.

yea im gona go with flavor on this one. I think 2 colors is enough not 3. I like the look of the black and silver, im thinking the whole car im goning to do that scheme. Like 2 tone seats and dash painted sliver, then just the lip kit on the outside.

My friend/body shop tried talking me into the silver lip kit. After seeing it on my own car, I'm glad I didn't do it. It looks nice, just not my style.
