Rewire corners to blink with turn signals??

Rewire corners to blink with turn signals??

Can this be done? I checked the how to's and there was only ways to make them brighter..99 MAX:

yes there is i saw a post about it somewhere, i want to do it to, and i am pretty sure its easy. i will see if i can find it.

yea but you need a new socket, preferably out of a 95/96 so you can get the 3rd wire.

Yeah but was he asking for the actual corner light (clearance light) or the side marker like in the link you posted.

lol. my corner light ARE my blinkers. it can be done, i'll ask my dad, he's the one who wired mine up

I stretched my wiring harness up to the corner light and put the socket up there

My bumpers lights don't function and my blinking is from the corner light.

Free mod.

That's close to how mine are working currently. I just swapped the bulb sockets. I have to trim a little off the socket/light housing to make them work, but it still works either way.

Corner light is blinker - on/off
Bumper light is constant on/brighter when blinker is engages.

i actually like that idea..

and sorry to threadjack.. but does anyone know what i can use besides paint thinner, aircraft stripper and gasoline or acetone to remove the spray on tint on my turn signals in my signature? thanks

Yeah, I never liked the light color from the clear bumper lights, so I negated them.

do not use paint thinner or any of those things with acetone in it. it will literally melt the adhesive material onto the lens. try goo gone and peeling it with your nail. it comes right off. rubbing alcohol works well too

the side maker on the blinker are worthless anyway....why not jus splice the blinker wire so that the side markers work in unison with blinkers. The setup in the shematic will make the lights alternate when the headlights are on.
