Help Suspension Guys
Well i installed my D2s about a month ago and am loving the handling. My question concerns the preload however. I feel that when i go over a bump in the road while accelerating sometimes the front wheels come off the ground enough for me to get a real floaty feeling in the steering wheel (and very little traction). Do I need to increase the preload on the fronts to help alleviate this problem? Thanks guys.

Do D2's have adjustable dampening??? If so increase it (firmer) to control the wheel better. What tire pressure are you running? To much and the wheel hits bumps hard causing it to rebound up and off the road for a second. Combine that with a heavy wheel and you need a firmer setting.
yea the D2s do have dampening adjustability - mines set at 12 up front and 17 in the rear (out of 36). Right now ive got the stock 19.4 lb 5 spokes w/ about 35 psi up front and 38 in the rear. so the dampening and not the preload would fix this?
