Best affordable suspension upgrades for '99 maxima SE

There are a bunch of threads on this in this forum. It's easier if you do a google search through our forum search to find these threads. The regular thread search on our forum, at least for me, is very broad and specific.
If you are looking to get your stock ride back, many orgers are buying sensen struts, reusing your springs, and replacing the dust boot and bump stops. That's the cheapest way to go if your in a pinch.
If your trying to get "performance" upgrades there are a few choices that people go with. Everyone uses different spring/strut combos and have their own preferences. I have personally seen alot of tokico illumina shocks around here, which is what im planning on getting. Like the other poster said, kyb's are very popular on our cars too. Comparing these struts to coilovers, i'd consider these choices affordable. I Hope this helps you out
.s. I believe there are a few (2?) brands of FSTB's (front strust tower bar i think its called) for our cars. I would probably start with that as its cheaper and easy to put on our cars.

This past summer I bought Megan Lowering Springs & Struts set on eBay for $368. So worth it. Great suspension and it drops the car 2" which is good for a daily driver. Definitely get dust boots because 2 of mine are ripped in half. Had to pay a shop $500 to put them on because the rear strut bolts suck. Rusted!
