i got a code for my AICV, how can i find out whats wrong with it?
im at work right now so i cant be searching a lot, thanks guys for your help.

 

Do you have a rough IDLE? you should take it a part and clean it at first.
what is the code number?

 

i got the p0505 code, which i see equals 0205
i did the 00vi mod, and now i get this code. i dont know why its trigering.
i have a plate that covers the aicv and a tube that allows air flow into the manifold when it opens up. i have the high idle all the time. as if its warming up.

 

well it looks like something did not get hooked up properly. I recommend going back to the place who installed the 00VI. It could be a leak in your air flow system. After all 00Vi is not made for 96 Maxima. A lot of work and mod parts involved to make it work 100%.
