cleaned iacv and now car wont start? HELP
ok so the car didnt runn for long but it used to start
Now i cleaned the iacv and it wont even start.
I think i may have taken it to far apart. I took off the outter part that the 4 prong plug goes into and cleaned that to, after i noticed it was electronc, i think that was a no-no ??
Could this be possible cause of the aicv or did the car just finally decide to die?

Also , when you try to start the car after iacv cleaning, press on the accelerator pedal.

even with a malfunctioning IACV your car should still start, your idle might be high or low, but the car should still start.
When you state the car wont start, do you turn the key and nothing?
does it keep cranking with no fire?

Ok guys heres a update
The car runs now but you gotta keep reving it.
If the rpm fall under 2k the car sounds bad, misfires, sounds like its about to stall and then stalls if you just let off the throttle.
If i hold the rpms up tho it stays on..
btw i checked the MAF with a extra one i have on hand, but no change
Iacv or throttle position sensor??

The car is running awsome !
First off im not not sure what fixed the original problem of the car stalling seconds after start up. It was either the crankshaft posistion sensor or a bad fuel pump .
The misfire problem was very dumb , i cant beleive i missed it, the gasket between the iacv and the IM, it was on totaly wrong, was only hold by one screw ...lol
but its what happens when your working at night with poor lighting and etc
Thanks everyone for their sopport and help with this!
