Neither does mentioning suspension set-ups when racing down the 1/4 mile...

Unless you're doing radical drag set-ups, which I know you're not.

Becuaase he knows as well as anyone, unless you'll be doing auto/x, it will be for looks.

I like the S-Techs, but I am coming from the high springrate of a coilover so they feel soft to me. I still feel like I get too much body roll.

I think they are a good street setup but I have no plans of tracking them like I did the D2s. Don't roadrace with stock brakes as they are not up to the task.

your damn right i know.... I HATE my S-techs for Auto-X....thats y i am sellign them....they look good ride decent but handle like my dads 66 Galaxie 500.....i brought up the 1/4 mile thing because i didnt think he knew what i meant by track meaning roadcourse......if he is strictly 1/4 mile s-techs will be fine because all he wants are looks

Simple shocks and springs will help in drag racing too

Better yet an adjustable coilover setup like the D2's or K-sports where you can adjust the dampening.

I know, but it's clear he's not into 1/4 mile racing enough to justify the set-up. He wants it for the looks, and I did mention that in my post

And he did mention that he was going to drag race the car The setup he mentioned serves both his purposes.

Less drop more travel. Softer so more lean.

I say invest in coilovers........

and coilovers are a big difference then the strut spring combo?I just want to do the set up and do it right and not have blown struts and this breaks and that breaks.Just want to go with a good setup.

as far as price how much would coilovers be.
i can get the setup iam talking about for about 400 450...so compare that price to coilovers for me.
