best suitable struts for S-Tech Springs

Im currently riding on KYB GR2's and a new set of TEIN S- Techs, but i feel the ride could be alot better after traveling back and forth to NY. What would be the ideal set of struts for the S- Techs?

Illuminas would be ideal. AGX's would also be better than GR2's but just not as good as the Tokicos. The S-Techs will ride fairly stiff/rough and you will need a good strut to counter that. Illuminas work wonders!

Illuminas are what I have with my s-techs. I don't think I'll buy any other brand of strut after seeing/feeling how good these are. I heard Tokico is coming out with a new strut called the D spec or something like that. Says it's "infinately" adjustable. Thought I saw it on their site. Showed it with a 350 Z I belive...

...sigh, it's a messed-up world out there. Us Max owners gotta make a name for ourselves! haha

those struts do look nice, though. Just a flick of the wrist to go from Lexus-soft to Evo-firm.

I suppose it's possible that they design them for the Max, considering they already have the pattern from the HP's and Illuminas. Maybe if we show some interest...

Cost is a factor too, The cheapest I got my Illuminas for was $408 shipped and I can't imagine the Dspecs will be cheaper than Illuminas!

oh, no. I'm sure they wouldn't be. But they performed better, it might be worth it.

However, on second thought, if they got much more expensive, might as well get coilovers, right?

I am on AGX with my Tien S Techs, and the ride is a bit too firm but still OK for me.

I'd like to know where I can get them for either of those prices!

Does anyone know if Ground Control coilovers will work with Tokico Illumina struts?

thanks for all the feed back, majority rules on this one! I will be saving up for a set of Illuminas. I am searching around for the best deal on them, any suggestions?

PS. Is it likely that the S Techs will get worn riding on the GR-2's? I ask because I probably be riding with that combo till early march, when I can purchase some Illuminas.

L0R1DA I got mine at performancepeddler.com type in maxima in the "Wholesale Login" The struts are: BU2905 (rears) BB3102 (front right) BB3103 (front left) Price total with 2 rears and both fronts should come to $408 exactly unless the price changed since October of this year.
