Hey real fast before i start to google or tear off my door panels does anyone know the speaker size for the max? 2 fronts and rear pls i know this is for the sound and audio sec but i dont want mixed answers from people not with 4th gen. thanks guys

 

6.5 all the way around=bose

 

6.5 inch all around. Not sure if it changes if you have bose system.

 

yea i dont think i have bose but im not sure it had an aftermarket deck in it when i bought it.. not a good one but it wasnt stock but anyway it should be 6.5 then thanks....

some 4th gen max's have 6x9 in the rear...just open the trunk and take a look. 6.5" in the fronts for sure though

You're fairly correct! 3rd gens (turds) had 6x9's.

 

no 4th gen max has 6x9 .. all 4th gen max's are 6.5

 

EVERY 4th gen max takes 6.5 speakers all the way around...be careful u check out the speakers though BEFORE u buy them, open up the box and make sure theres FOUR holes, not 6...I bought Fujitsu Ten eclipse 6.5's, and had to get them drilled in/custom installed in the back, bc there was 6 holes. Once u get this done, and 100% they will match up, u can install them urself, its soo easy..everything snaps in its a breeeze. If u have any questions, just send me a message, and I can help you.
