Brand New David L's?

Any way I can get brand new David L rear brake lights? Or they just don't have no more to sell? I don't want to buy custom enterprise ones cuz I heard they are cheap quality.

A few years too late. Best thing is to try to get them used. They pop up from time to time and luckily the price has dropped significantly to where they were a year ago.

I have a brand new set of APC all clear tails still in the box. These are what david Ls were made from. Just gotta open them up and paint the bottom half red. I might consider selling them.

I read the stickies and even went to http://maxima.cardomain.com/ride/520593 for the write up on how to make LED taillights, but I could not find anything.
Please try to help, but don't flame.

Ian.......if I were you, I'd put the labor in it and make it a red/clear. Then profit bigger! I wish I have an extra pair.

Actually I was thinking of doing that. But then I started wondering if people would rather have some brand new lights that havent been touched. Ill probably paint them, just havent gotten around to doing anything with them yet.

People would rather have it painted and ready to install. You know how most are, lazy. You can then profit more on labor.

There was a write-up in the mod faq however, the link doesn't work anymore. I don't know of anyone else that knows how to make them except Kevlo911. I think he has one for sale for $400. PM him. Other than that, if you are a non-subscribing member like me, you will have to search the hard way. And that is to page thru the 4th gen forum and do it the long tedious way. There's also a poorman's search engine, if you are interested, look for it in the stickies. You gotta pay to play.

I agree... the fact that you cannot make your own post means that you will have to sift thru the forum threads and read up especially the forum stickies. At least that's what the forum moderators are hoping that you would do. Not a week that goes by that some newbies post a headlight bulb or intake thread or two, when all they have to do is read the stickies and the answers are there. In your circumstances, there was one in the stickies but the link doesn't work anymore so you got off the hook easy. Help yourself first before you can expect others to help you. That is pretty much common sense no matter where you are at in life. Welcome to the org.

So apologizing for it makes it ok? If you were really sorry you'd delete your post.

I'll admit that i'm purposely giving you a hard time. This is because all you had to do was wait until you got to 15 posts and start your own thread. But that seemed to have been too much to ask.
