This problem is not going away and I finally have time to take care of it. I know the EGRC Solenoid valve might possibly be bad so I am going to just order it. I believe courtesy Nissan has it for $115 or so but I think thats just the EGR valve which is different. Any how, can any one here point me to a cheaper place? I have never dealt with DaveB but guessing he would be a good person to get in touch with but not sure if he deals with all kinds of parts.

I am not going to tackle this job on my own with it being so cold out so will have a trusted mechanic replace it for me. I cant stand the driving issues - Some times hesitation and sometimes somewhat power loss.

They have the EGR valve for $100, looks like I will have to call them to make sure that and the EGRC solenoid valve are the same.

 

They are not the same parts... and DaveB sells ALL Nissan parts. He works at a Nissan parts counter - Garrands Nissan IIRC.

That thread helped, I just hope the part # is the same because thats what DaveB ordered for me. Can any one confirm because he wasnt 100% sure himself. This part name is really a mystery.

 

What are the symptoms to go with that code?

 

Power is not consistent and some times when WOT, the car hesitates. Also the idle is usually higher.

 

Any loping when you are at a stop?
