Does anyone have the Polk EX602a or EX652a speakers in his/her 4th gen max?

I have Polk EX components in front and EX602a in the back.

So it's the 602a and not 652a that fit?

No, definitely get the 652a's. It'll make your life alot easier. I had to use adapters to fit the 602a's. The front and back are 6 3/4" not 6 1/2".

652a's and components up front!

I love em' LOUD as hell with a 400 watt fosgate amp running all 6(including *****). Another 600 Mono Fosgate amp running the **** out of my JL 12w6

Polk Momo components up front and polk dx6 in the rear and let me just say they are the "****".

upside down

They are moutned on the under side of the trunk lid...wires run down in factory loom....looks nice

Do you have any heat problems? I've read that amps should be mounted on the side or right side up. This way the heat can dissipate by rising.

true

I had a rack built that circulates air underneath it....amps are cooler than they were in my truck on the floor now!!!

Sounds like a good idea. Do you have pics? If you don't, don't sweat it. I was just wondering as to where would be a good place to mount that would save space.
