proper headlight height

proper headlight height

ive gotta aim these things they are so off its not funny anymore...i know how to aim them and the fogs but what is a good height to set them at if i point them at a garage or a wall assuming the car is on level ground ?

I'm not positive on this but I think what you do is park about 10 feet away and the brightest part of the beam should be level with the headlights and the driver side should be a little lower.

I got a question too. What makes one of the headlights brighter than the other one. In my case I got the one piece headlights and HIDs and my driver side is deffinetely brighter than the passenger side. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

One bulb is newer then the other there fore gives the brighter light on one side just buy 2 new bulbs at the same time and install at same time

THey are both brand new I got the Helios kit from the Group Deal about 4 months ago and installed the new headlights and HIDs at the same time.

in the haynes manual, p. 12-22 i believe, have the correct way to aim your headlights.
