Ouch! I constantly have to dodge deer where I work. I keep waiting for that exact thing to happen to me. Though it would be kinda need to see one stuck to my hood because of the hood pins.

Looks like its time for a '97-'99 Bumper comversion

Sorry about your accident, when you get lemons, make lemonade.

as far as the parts go, look around in Junkyards for the '97-'99 bumper-front end pieces.Unless there was engine damage/Airbag deployment, definitely fix it.

I would say get an estimate on how much everything is going to cost. Even check ebay for some stuff or go to the chicago land junk yard for some stuff. How bad is the damage, it must be bad cause you hit a deer but post some pics of it. I live in chicago land area and if you need help fixing it PM me and we'll see how it goes with my schedule. Remember our maxima has one of the best V6 engine out in the world!!

That sucks! Got pics? Some would take the opportunity to go 97-99 front end, but if you do fix it I say stay retro! We're getting kinda rare

PS on the brighter side at least you have meat on the table for the next month!

Damn that does suck i hit one back in November leaving a UK football game. Luckly i was one of the last in a long line to hit it. Only damage was chipped paint, dented fender, and popped out my clear corners. Getting Stillen kit so will fix the paint when i get it put on, fixed fender my self no lasting damage, clear corners were put back in place. People in front of me had a hole in their gas tank (never acctually heard of that happening, it was kinda freaky). It felt like I hit a damn wall though.

ps.-i am getting new headlights so i could give you a good deal on one of mine (97 though)

I will take my girlfriends digital camera and post some pics so you guys can see it. The air bags did not deploy but the pins that are locking the hood have moved so I can close the hood. I also have a little frame damage looks like.

man, i wish i lived somewhere that had deer. all i have to worry about hitting is rabbits and pigeons. i was doing 80 down the freeway and this brightass bird decides to try and fly under this big dually truck in front of me. all that came out was a cloud of feathers. i actually brained one against a headlight a few months back, i think thats why the bulb broke. took one out with a side mirror too. damn rats with wings.

I hit a deer with my now former '95 GXE on December 19. Not fun. I'll have to change my handle since i'm in the process of replacing it with a very dark green '96.
