There a write up on how to add the aux input but it requires soldering and he got the cable running from his center console let me see if i can find the post

Here how to add it. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....2&page=1&pp=30

I cant say there arent other ways maybe a line out convertor would work. I also think there a harness you can buy that plugs into the cd changer on the back so you can add aux from it

Just get an aftermarker headunit and plug your ipod through that...like i did.
Or you could go to best buy and look in the car audio section and they have a certain kind of connector to hook up an ipod.

I just did this yesterday. It is AWESOME. Very, VERY straightforward if you're the intuitive/engineer type and can handle soldering. I paid about $15 to do it, including a crapload of extra wire, extra solder, extra desoldering tape, and a soldering iron. If you're considering it and have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Getting an aftermarket HU requires a $60 adaptor for the bose speakers (unless you want to replace HU AND speakers) plus the cost of the HU and a more involved wiring job, not to mention the ugly single DIN space you have to fill afterwards. It's not worth it just for an aux input, all you have to do is look at that page and solder 6 wires (I had to find a different ground pin, but they're clearly labeled).
