All the shops around here want way to much, internet sales are much cheaper. Any comments on internet sales, where to buy from and where not to buy from. I'm looking at the tantrums and giovanna kugi's, any suggestions I just dont like the center of the tantrums where it is gold and says konig. One more ? I want to lower my car the same time I get my rims, I can afford springs(probaly H&R) but not shocks or struts right now. What should I do? Will I blow my stock shocks, can I replace front for now and back later or visa versa.
Thanks

I bought rims and tires from Tirerack (www.tirerack.com). They mounted the tires on the rims and balanced them for me. No complaints from me.

Buying from the Tirerack is a very good bet.

They mount, balance and ship you the tires for a bunch less($400) in my case) than local shops seem to.
Put them on yourself. Pay to have the struts and shocks done. Costs about $300. Maybe less depending on how well you know your mechanic.
And if you're going to put springs, (Eibachs or H&R etc.), go on and get the struts too. Since you've already got the labor involved. Don't put springs on, that will most likley blow you shocks, then go back to the shop to have them take it all off and put it on again. Do it right the first time around or wait until you can. Besides the wheel and tire upgrade alone will make all the difference in the world. Have fun!
