Gained 17whp in the past week or so...

...with:
PIAA super sporza wipers:

Wheelskin (black, perforated sides):

Aux input Bose mod (see above pic)
9007 headlight conversion (no pic)
and full claybar + meguiar's 3 step + 2x wax (will have more pics from a better camera in the member rides section later):

+ vacuum, interior etc:

All of these are awesome mods, I'd say. The wipers work beautifully and look great. The 9007s light up the road MUCH better, even the highbeams are far superior despite the identical wattage rating, and the wheelskin feels awesome and adds a nice quality yet still stock-ish look (well you can't get around the spokes still being exposed, but still)

404 17whp horsepower not found look good otherwise do the piaa wipers wipe any better by chance? I need to replace mine since they are garbage. Would you recommend them? or have you not had a chance to test them?

Ohhh I've had PLENTY chance to test them.
I got 22" driver and passenger, the passenger side barely fits. They work very, very well. Follow the directions if/when you get them and not only will they wipe smoothly and perfectly, you won't need them when you're on the highway. I prayed for rain every single day just so I could gawk at them after I got them. But remember, $48 shipped is a GOOD price for a pair (from truckcustomizers.com, ugh). They ain't cheap.

None of that is Initial D, and rightfully so.

Nah, just regular ol' 9007 Xtravisions. I just did a quick wire swap, didn't have the time for anything else. One of my silverstars burnt out after 3 or so months and I got pissed off, so I saw the Xtravisions and remembered how easy the 9007 conversion was. The difference is surprising, especially for such an easy mod.

It actually does fit, but I can't run the wipers on high without them smacking something on the way down. Of course, I will never need to run them that fast with these wipers. (:

Definitely. It's all the little things that add up to a great car.

Did you get the blades or the arms too.
About to get a wheel skin myself. Is that steering wheel stock? I like the look of that one much better than mine on the 95.
God damn I wish someone would do a write up for aux on a 99 headunit.

Wow, lots of replies.

To answer some questions:

-I LOVE MY BLACK TRIM AND NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME.

-For the wheelskin, I just followed the directions, starting at bottom dead center (just remember not to start at a seam). I used one hand to hold each stitch tight (very tight) while I used the other to perform the next stitch and pull the thread through. I didn't do it very well in the first couple stitches (which you can't see ) and would like to order another thread (I think they'll ship you one for free if you go to wheelskins.com) and redo it. I LOVE THIS THING. It feels very nice and tight, and the thicker steering wheel just feels better in general. I got mine for $38 shipped from a site which I can't find now but they seem to have ebay auctions:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-W...4533QQtcZphoto
Keep in mind this one is perforated and costs a bit more than the others. The size for a 4th gen Max is "AXX."

-I have a '97 Max--'95 and '96 steering wheels are different from '97-99.

-I only got wiper blades, was looking into arms to replace my fading ones but couldn't find any. Keep in mind that the blades are actually the whole assembly that attaches to the arms, including the rubber squeegee, the metal contraption that keeps it pressed against the glass and the little "spoiler."

Thanks for all the friendly comments guys.
