Alarm issues

Today I went to move the Maxima from where it's been sitting since sepetember and I ran into a little problem. The drivers side door lock is kind of hard to turn, so I opened up the passenger door and then the alarm went off, I thought the battery was dead but apparantly not. So I push the lock button on the remote and nothing happens, I tried the other remote and the same. I dissconnected the battery, and then hooked it back up and the alarm started right back up again. Anyone have a way to get the alarm to turn off?? Thanks in advance.

you could try the trunk lock. The trunk lock should have a micro switch to cancel the alarm (so you can open the trunk with the key and the alarm won't go off) If that does not work disconnect the battery, put the key in the ing switch and turn to on, reconnect the battery. I've never tried this with a Nissan but it works with most factory alarms.

Put some wd40 or even better some graphite lock lubrcant on the key and put it in and out a few times, this should unstick it. Just wipe off the key when your done or your hands and pockets with smell like wd40 every time you use them.
