300ZX MAF on the 4 Gen. Possible?

Would the 300ZX MAF be recoginized by my ECU...I tried a 75mm GM MAF from a Corvette, and my car starts fine and idles fine, but when I try to WOT, it only revs to 2500 rpms and doesn't climb any higher. I was wondering if anyone tried this.

That is the response when there is no MAF at all.

You can use the 300ZX MAF if you are turboed and you get it tuned to the differences in the voltage pattern through JWT or a tuning piggyback. The only reason to do this however is if you are maxing out the stock MAF. You need over 300whp to do this.
