95 max+18 inch murano rims need help!!!!

i didn't know if I should put this in this forum but since im not selling them I guess its the right spot. I have a 95 maxima with 18 inch murano rims. The tires that came on them are 235/50/18. before the summer I want to get new tires and the ones on their now rub alot.is it because of the width or the series of the tire. should I go with 235/40/18 or do I have to go more narrow?

the width won't make them rub when i turn the wheel especially sharp turns.
