Signal Lights and Hazards Cutting Out!

Hey all,

I'm having a pretty bizzare (to me anyway) problem. My turn signal lights and Hazards are cutting out recently. When I go to use them, sometimes they'll work several blinks worth (when cold it's better I think). Other times though, they may not blink at all or just once and then stop.

This happens even after I turn the car off... they might not blink. Nothing is permanently burned out though... if I wait and try again, they might blink another once or twice and then cut out again.

I did install side marker lights myself a few years back (never had problems though)... just thought I would mention it in case it's relevant.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Amit

Check your chiltons or haynes manual. I believe there is a relay for it under the dash by the fuse box or under the hood. It's probably getting ready to go out.

Well the whole blinker system is tied into your hazard switch, Pull your center console and check the switch and see if the harness looks damaged or is even plugged all the way in.
