Is this a bad thing to do....
Since I purchased my Max in '97.. I have always warmed it up for at least 5 mins… I like to drive it when its fully warmed up, the car feels like if I don’t, it won’t wanna stop. Can this possible hurt the engine..

It probably won't hurt, but I thought that warming the engine was only needed with a carbureted engine.

can't see it hurting the car

but i believe the proper way to warm is halfway to warmed up, try three minutes. our cars don't need to be warmed up like teh older cars do

This lengthy warmup period doesn't hurt the engine but it does waste gas. On a cold day 30 seconds is enough warmup time. On a warm day no warmup is needed.
