Coilovers are a big chunk of that, But if you steered clear of expensive suspension mods, you could go the y-pipe/ecu/MEVI route for about that much

Depends on if you want power, looks, handling etc.

power - y-pipe, 00vi or MEVI
handling - Illumina struts with some good aggressive springs
looks - tint, body kits, etc.

I assume you meant Front strut tower brace as opposed to front sway bar. All our cars have front sway bars.

^true. or get a nice drop and save alittle bit more for rims. you can always buy my gray leather seats in the 4th gen classifieds. a drop and a lip kit would be nice tho. or if your into speed, get some mods like that.

save couple more Gs and get a 3.5 swap. If I can start over, I would do the swap FIRST.

GB has a deal on $440 for 17's or 460 for 18's or something close to that. Then spend your left overs on tires and installation. Then i would say pending on what type of tires you might have $100-200 or maybe nothing left. if you have $100 left, maybe get some tints, $200 left maybe get a Ypipe.

id say get a drop and some wheels.
Once you start doing the performance mods, you wont be able to stop.
1000.00 will not be enough.

spend it slowly, don't buy all at once, put it in your savings, and buy one thing or another, like a
Y-pipe, and something for the looks like a lip.

oovi is "Original Oval Voice Integrator" which when you yell out "MORE HP" it acts like NOS.

mevi is very interesting. it's short for "More Efficient than Voice Integrator" where you don't even have to say anything and it just give you power over the whole rpm range.

lol. that was pretty good kormax, did you just come up with that?

00vi is short for 2000 variable intake, which is the intake manifold from a 2000 maxima. MEVI stands for Middle Eastern Variable Intake.. information on both can be found in the stickies i believe, and more in the all-motor forums..

id complete the suspension first. if you have anything left i would put it towards performance.

you could buy a whole bunch of beer, then go to the strip club and spend the rest on lap dances, could be fun

Suspension is EVERYTHING....then brakes....engine should always be LAST. DOnt listen to the others "Do the 3.5 first" You need to be able to control that power. Take some driving courses too and dont crash....

okay, i've been in this situation.
honestly, i think its more rewarding to spread it out over time (even if its like something every 2 weeks) and get alot of little things like microvision screen, front lip, upgraded headlights. things like that.
cause i blew 1000 on my wheels and tires and i still like them but soon enough i was interested in something else that i wanted. and i didnt have the money to spend on it.
you dont have any idea of what you want? i want so many things right now its rediculous. dont spend money just to spend it.

Just another post to prove this thread is pointless because there are too many opinions.

Waste of a thread.. IMO

i got my suspension, rims, gauges, taillights, and subs for less than 1k.

For another 1k I had a manual swap, and this summer 1k WILL get me a 3.5 swap.

My point being, you can't LEGALLY drink in a ti.tty bar, so you have to go to those raunchy all nude 18+ clubs..

Canadian Whiskey > Kentucky Bourbon.

Really. They serve alcohol in nude bars here (18+ they dont), but the ones that do are all nude.

Canadian Whiskey > Kentucky Bourbon.
Which kentucky bourbon have you had? There is some really good shat that is better than Canadian Whiskey.
