Resonator effect

I'm planning on getting a larger resonator for my exhaust and I'm not sure how large to go. I currently have a 4" round, 14" long resonator on there. I don't want to lose all of the sound, but I want it to be a good amount quieter. Does anyone have any experience with different sized resonators?

I have a 24" resonator, and I still think it's too loud...

I have a flowmaster muffler. It sounds really good, but I just want something a little quieter.

Get the resonator then. Mine is 20"+ and it sounds better than smaller ones I have heard. You will lose some noise, and get slight more bass. I have a feeling eventually you will want to ditch the flowmaster. I'm kinda leaning to get rid of my magnaflow......

Nah. Maybe in a couple of years. For now I enjoy the rumble. I've had it for about two years now and still love it. I'm just making it a little less noticable.
