Megan Exhaust

Anyone have experience with Megan Cat Back exhausts for the 4th Gen? I ordered a 5th Gen muffler off of an org member that gets here soon and was looking for replacement piping for my exhaust system and found this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MEGAN...spagenameZWDVW

good or bad?

The exhaust I have now was custom welded by the previous owner, sucks, and loops over the rear axle and ends in an N1 Tip that sticks out past my bumper (need to get a new set up because my kid sister burned her leg on it and i'm a bit pissed off about the whole situation)

Also anyone have any advice about what piping to mate with the 5th gen muffler? I was thinking about cattman parts and a hi flo cat but this megan system intrigues me to say the least.

I just had my exhaust redone. I had the pipe cut after the cat and had 2.25" pipe put in place of it going to the muffler. Of course that dropped the resonater, but the Magnaflow Muffler I got sounds nice. Not too harsh, just mellow. By the way, it's still routed over the axle, just in a different spot so it's not pinched.

I had the megan catback. It was fun at first. Nice and loud. Paired with m custom enterprise high flow cat and stillen ypipe, It is way loud. It looks nice and polishes, mint being s.s. But i recomend making your won exhaust. I kept the megan bpipe and welded a magnaflow muffler on. It sounds awesome and not loud.
So yeah your choice but i hate i hate when I can't hear my music over my exhaust.

Damn $50.10 is worth it for the b pipe alone even to weld to a stock exhaust!!!

Why would it rust like no tommorow? It's stainless steel.

I was probably the first person on the forum to get one. Build quality was excellent, among the best I've seen. Sound was loud, lots of drone without the silencer in. If you want a loud exhaust it's a good choice, if you don't wan't a loud exhaust look elsewhere.

BTW it won't rust, it's fully stainless. I had mine on the car for over a year, driven in the saltiest winters known to man (western michigan where we get crazy lake effect snow) and it didn't rust a lick.

None that you can really hear it I don't think. All my videos are at the track and I was racing much louder cars than my own.
