he's got a smashed up max...from the rear...you'll need torx tools...in order to get the passenger one out...you'll have to remove the glove box and you'll see the bolts in there...the driver's side one is a sinch....remove the little plastic covers on the side of the steering wheel and go to town...just ensure that the battery is disconnected for at least a couple of hours...not sure what the recommended time is when dealing with airbags.

I think it is just 15 minutes on the air bags, on my truck I replaced the airbag and steering wheel, and every thing I saw just said 15 min. But I would do it for like 30-45 and just watch your face.

make sure you get the tamper-proof torx bits. regular torx bits will not work.

just stand outside the car and work thru the window on the left bolts, and sit on the passenger side for the right bolts...even if it does pop you don't break a nose.

if the battery is disconnected, it won't be a problem. i disconnected the airbags in my parts car with absolutely no problem. Just disconnect the module first.

The problem is where is that module. I'm in the process of replacing my airbags right now and I can't find where my old airbag module is. Thanks!

Also do I need to change the sensor in my front bumper even if the accident caused no major damage, but the bags blew? Thanks!
