after spring installation
Alright guys i just have a few questions.....i just installed my springs about 4 days ago. I had the stock spring and aftermarket spring side by side and the aftermarket spring was exactly 2.2" lower than the stock spring. The rear was 1.9" lower than stock. The rear looks good, but the front looks like it only dropped by MAYBE an inch. There is about exactly a 3 1/2 finger wheel gap in the front and BARELY a 2 finger gap in the back. Im wondering if the front springs just need time to settle or what? Also the front springs sit on the strut pocket perfectly while the rears hang over so i was also wondering if that was normal for a aftermarket spring. I'll try to take pictures of this tomorow to help clarify anything. Thanks

When you measured the springs, that was unloaded right?
Presumably the aftermarket springs are stiffer, so they won't compress as much as the stock springs - thus the height difference after installation won't be 2.2"...
What springs btw?

^ i would have to agree 100% unloaded and loaded springs are complete in terms of height. Mainly stiffer. Which is good tho and very normal. Sounds like he got something on the soft side. maybe H and R's or H-tech.

Dude - stop bumping your own post so much. I already told you the bump stops are part of the strut boots... do you know what a strut boot is?
Why don't you put in some effort "bumpstop" and you'll be able to find everything you need to know.
