99 i30 won't start

1st of all, Nexus_7 is graciously allowing us (to use his account) to post this question....so dont shoot him

'99 I30 v6 engine won't start.
Got full tank of gas, drove about 5 miles afterwards, stopped at store, inside for apx. 10 min., car started and died right away. Hasn't started since (2 days now).
Car cranks over very well, has spark. Cam and crank sensors spec out ok, used noid light, they won't light. Injectors spec out ok. Fuel pressure ok. Pulled codes w/CBDII code scanner, none come up. Tried different keys, no go. Car cranks well but doesn't start.
What tells injectors to work? (As this may be the problem?)
Any other suggestions would be most appreciated.

I have a starting issue myself, but it will start eventually. I've replaced all the crank sensors and cam pos sensor, a different starter(junkyard).
All that's left that I can think of is a faulty ignition switch.

easier to check the coils then just check spark at the plug ends.Pull the coil off with the plug extention put new plug in end try to start and look at the plug to see if it sparks. If you have spark then it probably is not your ign switch.

It might be your chipped key.

Yeah 99's have chipped keys, it happened to me once, and I had to get my keys reprogramed by the dealer. It cost around $85, to see if this is the problem, crank your car, then look at the security light, if it stays lit, then this is most likely your problem.

chip in key

if your having problems with the chip does it knock out your spark or yhe signal to the injectors. I put a noid light on the injector connection tried to start the noid did not light. No signel to the injector. Can you see the chip on or in the key, infinity has large square head, can't see anything that looks different than any other key. thanks for the suggestion

Up date Final

Sorry about the delay on the update. Tested the security light while cranking it it stayed on.Infinity dealer said he needed the car can,t do recoding from the vin #.had to tow the car in and hope that,s what it was.Naturally thay scaned for codes none.Reset codes for two keys, we got away from the dealer only paying 104.00 r that,Greg, sorry the battery went dead and could not try your suggestion. Now the starter needs to be replaced because it's propably original and it sounds terrible from all the cranking it took Rebuilt starter from Auto Zone 140.00does this seem about right to you life time as long as i own the car. Car runs good now. NOTE:If it's the chip in the key for no start proplems it stops the signel for the injecters to fire. THANKS AGAIN
