There are few coilover: tein basic, ksport (on GD), jic, and D2. If you only want to drop an inch or an inch an a half, there are many options with spring and struts.

I just finished installing my eibachs about 10 minutes ago, so I can't give you a review of them, but they look pretty nice, not nearly as low as the sprints they replaced but my car is more useful now that its not so low. About to go for a spirited run up in the mountains, I'll give a review when I get back.

check these out not a bad price especially for the Illuminas. Drops a little more than an inch. Call and talk to Nick (ext 101) and tell him that Brandon to you to talk to him. He will probably give you a good deal plus if you mention the write up about them on the Org you save $30. They are what im getting write after i get my rims. Hope this helps.

a daily driven car with any drop around 1.5" is fine. pro kits will ride nice becuase they are progressive rate, being soft under normal use. the GC kit will be harsher to a degree, but they are linear springs so they are always the same stiffness. if you want GC pick a slightly softer spring. it will ride similar to stock because of the linear rate, but be stiffer and sportier. just dont slam the car.
d2, ksport, ect arent really reliable yet. they have way to many issues. they are good for the price and for slamming but a properly setup gc/koni will be much better.

Just got my car alligned and drove it super hard up a really twisty mountain road. All I can say is, WOW! Eibachs are freakin nice springs. They felt very soft compared to my sprints around town, but once I hit the twisties the car stuck much better than with sprints. I cut about 1 minute off my record time, which is saying a lot since my old time was about 5 minutes, and I just did it in under 4. Sorry if you see this as whoring up your thread, but just thought I'd give an opinion on Eibachs since you asked.

Agreed. I have had GC on mine for the longest time, as much as I dislike the ride I just didn't have time to figure out what springs I wanted to get when I installed the GR2's 6 months ago. I want to stay around 1.5" or maybe a little more but less than 2" of drop. As it is now, I looked at my drive axles and there's a slight angle to them but not enough to cause concern.

ground controls are a very stiff ride...if u see track days and auto-x days they are a good spring....not very good for DD...although u can order custom rates from ground control.....very sought after in SCCA SOLO II just because they perform well and dont bump ur calss to high....but if its ur DD get a set a H&Rs or Progeress
