Does the regular size pioneer cd player fit into the pocket below the stock BOSE unit. I have the flip down pocket in my car. also if I install the cd player can I still wire my stock unit just to light up at night when you turn the lights on does not have to play the music just to light up at night with the cd player below working. I think it looks cool when everyithing lights up at night. Thank you.

 

Yes - everything you want to do is possible. You will need a special adapter to use the exisiting bose wiring/speakers with a aftermarket head unit. You'll need to do some custom wiring to get the Bose headunit to light up - since the existing harness/connectors will be needed for the aftermarket HU.

I would ask the mods to move this into the audio/electronics forum.
