nooooooooooooooooo(Knock Sensor)Codee

oh wtf I recently had the egr code 0302. ANd i just let it sit i never bothered with it, it went away by itself so i decided to check my codes anyway and only this one came out.nooooooooooooooo. So i reset the ecu hopefully this code was the cause of leaving the egr on without getting it fixed. What do you guys think. My car drivers perfectly i dont notice any KS failing i think it was replaced recently anyway.

Time for a new KS

No big deal - you won't regret replacing it.. you'll have all sorts of power back.

Yup - reset the ECU, drive around the block and see if the code is set again (remember the light won't be on for just the KS code).

If you see 0304, get your money, a 12mm swivel, 18" extension and rachet ready for action. Some rags to wipe up any blood-loss are handy too.

One more use for duct tape

I found that my left hand was easier to get down into the V to unscrew the bolt and replace the bolt... and I didn't get any cuts

Now that I think about it, I couldn't even fit my right hand all the way down there, but my left went in and was easier to remove the bolt with.

Sound like some people need to switch to the other hand for a little while.
