I looked for a search function, but I didn't find one. Did I not look hard enough?

Anyways, I'm getting code 0707 using the diagnostics, which shows up as the rear heated o2 sensor. How big a job is it to replace, and how much is the part?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Easy to replace - the hardest part is breaking it loose. If you can't get it out, just take it to a muffler shop - and they'll break it loose for 10 bucks.

 

Make sure you let some WD-40 soak in there for a while. I sprayed mine let them sit for a while and out they came.

 

I sprayed mine with Liquid Wrench and waited about 20 min. I was surprised at how easily they came out.

 

I didn't hear anyone tell him to make sure he puts anti-seize on the threads of the new one before installing ti.

 

Every o2 sensor thatI have ever bought come with anti-seize pre-applied

BUT - it's a good point and something the OP should definitely do.

 

i got one off oxygensensors.com for $60 & then had goodyear put it in for another $50. what a rip
