Hello everyone

My name is Jeremy. I am new to this forum, or any forum for that matter, and am just posting this to say hi. I have been reading the org for about 3 years, but finally got around to setting up e-mail and registering.

I have been in love with my car for about 4 years now. Bought it used in 2001 with only 40,000 miles. Since then I have put a tremendous amount of time and money into this car, but it is finally coming together. I am in the process of creating a cardomain site so I can show you all my Nissan(1997 SE 5-speed w/ black paint, black wheels and black interior).

Although I am not a mechanic, I have done everything myself except paint, and new interior. I love to constantly learn about my car and how to fix/improve it. Anyone in South Florida need a hand on their Max let me know, I am always willing to help out. I am a car fanatic, but that doesn't even begin to explain my love of all things Nissan. I hope that I can be as helpful to others as some of you have been to me.

just go to www.photobucket.com and set up a account and upload the pics to that site, and then you can insert a picture in your posts by just copy and pasting the link to the picture that is surrounded by [IMG][/IMG]...

One pic in members rides now. I will get more up in the next few weeks.

As for mods, I have a lot of stuff done. so far,
Greddy SP1 exhaust, cone intake, grounding kit, Act stage 1 clutch (i hate it and have a 2k1 clutch, Fidanza flywheel and braided clutch line in my closet) B&M STS, Stillen Body Kit, FSTB, RSB, Eibach & Illuminas (K-Sports also in closet) w/ extended travel rear mounts, new leather interior w/ MAXIMA logo, Just had the whole car painted about 9 months ago. Full system (no TV), that's all I can think of right now, i'm sure i'll remember more as time goes by.

A long story about not being able to register under the same e-mail twice, but having a firewall that wouldn't let me sign up for a new e-mail. I have used the info on this board to learn how to fix my car, and thought that it was about time I could contribute something.

And about the Illuminas, I want to keep them at least for a while until I decide if I really like coilovers on my daily driver. I can handle a stiff ride, but if it's so stiff that screws and bolts start rattling inside the dash and doors, I think I may try a softer pair of springs on the K-Sports, but if something breaks, I will need a spare suspension.

The k-sports are very adjustable. they should ride firm, not stiff, if you adjust them correctly.

Welcome Jeremy,

Be sure to let us know when you have your Car Domain page set up...black on black is a great color combo. Sounds like you have a great list of mods so far.

ahh a "newbie" who won't have to go through the standard list of threads about catbacks, y-pipes, knock sensors, CELs . This is rather refreshing. Welcome to the .org man!

Since you're in West Palm, go and register on www.southfloridamaximas.com as well. We have some great meets down in the Sunrise area. Nice to see another maxima guy near me.
